In joint venture with Shun Tak Holdings Limited and GR8 Leisure Concept Limited, Dragages made its second foray into the one-stop ‘design, build, finance and operate’ business model with the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel.

The proximity of the site to the airport presented various challenges, most notably a strict height restriction on construction equipment. By forging close ties with different parties, Dragages managed to optimise the ceiling clear heights and shorten the production cycle.

Nestled on the edge of Lantau Island, with stunning views of the ocean or adjacent golf-course, the five-star Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel is ideally located next to Hong Kong International Airport and directly connected to AsiaWorld-Expo via a covered footbridge.
