Dragages receives 3 CSR awards

Dragages Hong Kong is honored to have received three CSR awards presented by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) for its commitment in community services and dedication to bettering society with promoting social integration.
Outstanding Partnership Project Awards 2018/19
Dragages’ efforts devoted to build the Sensory Garden have earned recognitions from both the construction and social welfare sectors. Previously awarded with the “Excellence in Construction Industry Volunteering Project – Gold Award” by the Construction Industry Council, Dragages has received the “Outstanding Partnership Project Award 2018/19’ by the HKCSS for the “Sensory Garden for Social Integration” project. The award presentation ceremony was held on 20 May 2019, officiated by James Henry LAU, Acting Financial Secretary of HKSAR.
From 2015 to 2018, Dragages has worked hand-in-hand with Hong Chi Winifred Mary Cheung Morninghope School, to build the Sensory Garden in the campus in order to provide sensory development training to intellectually impaired students in a fun-filled environment. Dragages mobilized volunteers from different levels and professional backgrounds in the company to take part in the project from design to delivery. Through this project, Dragages also successfully connected the school with its business partners, who sponsored construction materials and provided opportunities for students to connect with society.
5 Years + Caring Company
Dragages has been awarded the title of “Caring Company” since 2012. The Award scheme, which aims to cultivate good corporate citizenship, is made up of three scopes, namely “Caring for the Community”, “Caring for Employees”, and “Caring for the Environment”. This year, it has again been recognized for its continued commitment to care for the well-being of the community, its employees and the environment with the 5 Years + Caring Company Logo.
List of Barrier-Free Companies 2018/19
Dragages has successfully been named on the “List of Barrier-free Companies/Organization” for the third year for its effort to provide a barrier-free environment and culture in the Fo Tan Safety Training Center. Not only does Dragages provide special facilities for users in need, it also implemented disabled-friendly policies to create an inclusive workplace.
